Print batch numbers, shade codes, and brand information directly onto tiles, tile backs, and packaging, at full production speed.

Ceramic tile manufacturing runs through pressing, firing, glazing, cutting, and sorting before a single tile reaches the packing line, and every one of those stages puts dust, heat, and vibration into the air around your coding equipment. RNJet industrial inkjet printers are engineered for that environment, applying clear, durable codes on fired and unfired tile bodies, glazed and unglazed surfaces, die cut cardboard spacers, and corrugated packaging, without slowing the line down.

Why Coding Matters on Every Box You Ship

ISO 13006, and its European counterpart EN 14411, require every tile package to carry specific information before it leaves the factory, including the manufacturer’s mark, country of origin, quality grade, nominal size, glazed or unglazed status, number of tiles per package, batch number, and a colour consistency or shade indication. In North America, ANSI A137.1 adds its own shade variation classes, from V0 to V4, that buyers and installers rely on to know what colour range to expect within a production run. RNJet printers apply this data directly onto the box as tiles come off the sorting line, using the same batch and shade classification your sorting equipment has already determined, so compliant marking happens automatically instead of through a manual labeling step.
