Hi-Resolution Piezoelectric DOD Inkjet printers
Hi-Resolution RNJet piezo inkjet printers can be divided into small and large characters. The first one is based on the XAAR print engine, with a maximum print height of 36 mm. The second one is based on the SEIKO printhead, which is able to print up to 144 mm in height.
How does a Piezo print head work?
The primary “component” of a piezoelectric inkjet printer is, of course, a piezoelectric crystal. Electric current is passed via these crystals, forcing ink droplets out of nozzles. Ink is forced out in the form of drops by applying pressure to do this. As opposed to CIJ technology, drop-on-demand printing only ejects ink when it is required, reducing ink waste and improving print quality. Because to their capacity for numerous inks, piezo inkjet printers can create precise, detailed prints using a variety of colors and ink types. Piezo printers are particularly well suited for a number of applications, including product and case coding and marking. The main manufacturers of piezoelectric drop-on-demand print heads for coding and marking are XAAR, SEIKO, TRIDENT, RICOH.
